Mrs. Entwistle absolutely loves to teach first graders. Her favorite colors are pink and green and her favorite place to be is on the beach with a good book! She loves to read to her class and her favorite story is The Quiltmaker's Gift. Students in her first grade class will learn the importance of manners and respect inside and outside of the classroom. Mrs. Entwistle is excited to meet her new students and learn together throughout the school year. Welcome to a very special year in first grade at Allen School! Mrs. Sweeney loves to teach 1^st grade at Allen. She wants all of her students to love coming to school each and everyday. Her favorite subjects to teach are reading and writing and her favorite books are Where the Wild Things Are and Oh, The Places You’ll Go. Mrs. Sweeney also likes to eat lunch with her students as a reward and sometimes even participate in gym class. She is big Philadelphia sports fan and loves Penn State Football. In Mrs. Sweeney's class, students follow the Take 5 Expectations and earn rewards for demonstrating responsible and respectful actions. Mrs. Sweeney can’t wait to meet the new 1^st grade students.

	Mrs. Zagorski is so excited to return to First Grade. She loves spending time with her family, especially her son Lucas. Mrs. Zagorski loves to read books written by Kevin Henkes to her class. Her favorite book is Chrysanthemum and pink is her favorite color. Mrs. Zagorski loves to share small moment stories about Luke, and her dog Sebastian in Writer’s Workshop. She likes to teach her class to be polite and respectful to each other! We say our PROUD pledge everyday. Mrs. Zagorski says that all of her students should be PROUD to be a First Grader at Allen School. Welcome to an exciting new year at Allen school. We are going to have a blast.
