Mrs. Brown loves teaching. Her favorite color is blue and she loves
the Harry Potter books. Her favorite food in the cafeteria is a taco and
Math is her favorite subject. Mrs. Brown gives out rewards for good
behavior such as prizes from a prize box, ticket drawings, and extra recess.
Her classroom rule is to listen to everyone, be kind, and treat people the way
you want to be treated. In the second grade, you will learn how to write
in cursive and you will have special activities like buddies, Spotlight On, and
a second grade play. Mrs. Brown, would like to say to any new students coming to her
class, "Welcome and I'm happy to have you as a new student!"
Mrs.
Curran's favorite subjects are Reading and Science. She loves the
Antipasta salad in the cafeteria! She also gives out rewards from a prize
bin and chances to sit with a friend, work in groups, have extra recess, or work
in a favorite center. Mrs. Curran's class does some really cool science
experiments and an I Spy spelling game. Mrs. Curran's most important
classroom rule is to listen when someone is speaking. Teachers need the
student's full attention and other students have great ideas that should be
heard, too. Mrs. Curran suggest that new students tour the school and
invite classmates to play at your house.
Mrs. Johnston's teaches her students reading, writing, and math and how to
be inquisitive life long learners. Her students' rewards are the ability
to formulate great ideas and candy treats! Her most important classroom
rule is "Give me five," which means she wants the attention of everyone.
The most important thing she would like her students to learn is how to find
answers to their questions. Mrs. Johnston's favorite color is blue and her
favorite book is Anne of Green Gables. Her favorite animal is a
bunny, she loves Social Studies, and the soft pretzels in the Cafeteria!
Mrs. Johnston tells new students to, "look out for all the smiles!"
