Mrs. Brown loves teaching.  Her favorite color is blue and she loves the Harry Potter books.  Her favorite food in the cafeteria is a taco and Math is her favorite subject.  Mrs. Brown gives out rewards for good behavior such as prizes from a prize box, ticket drawings, and extra recess.  Her classroom rule is to listen to everyone, be kind, and treat people the way you want to be treated.  In the second grade, you will learn how to write in cursive and you will have special activities like buddies, Spotlight On, and a second grade play.  Mrs. Brown, would like to say to any new students coming to her class, "Welcome and I'm happy to have you as a new student!"

Mrs. Curran's favorite subjects are Reading and Science.  She loves the Antipasta salad in the cafeteria!  She also gives out rewards from a prize bin and chances to sit with a friend, work in groups, have extra recess, or work in a favorite center.  Mrs. Curran's class does some really cool science experiments and an I Spy spelling game.  Mrs. Curran's most important classroom rule is to listen when someone is speaking.  Teachers need the student's full attention and other students have great ideas that should be heard, too.  Mrs. Curran suggest that new students tour the school and invite classmates to play at your house.

Mrs. Johnston's teaches her students reading, writing, and math and how to be inquisitive life long learners.  Her students' rewards are the ability to formulate great ideas and candy treats!  Her most important classroom rule is "Give me five," which means she wants the attention of everyone.    The most important thing she would like her students to learn is how to find answers to their questions.  Mrs. Johnston's favorite color is blue and her favorite book is Anne of Green Gables.  Her favorite animal is a bunny, she loves Social Studies, and the soft pretzels in the Cafeteria!  Mrs. Johnston tells new students to, "look out for all the smiles!"
